SOCIAL MEDIA EVENT PLAN & SCRIPT
I chose to create an event based off a similar event Cummins Auto Group hosted in the past. Cummins Auto Group will partner with Weatherford Public Schools to raise money for the community's public school system. The event will be called "Drive for Dollars." People of the Weatherford community and other surrounding towns will have the opportunity to test drive different vehicles. For every test drive, Cummins Auto Group will donate money to the school system based on the amount of miles put on each vehicle following the test drive. Each person is allowed to test drive a vehicle for 10 minutes. The event not only benefits Weatherford's education system, but it will also give Cummins Auto Group the opportunity to grow and attract potential customers for the business, as well as the community.

Chad Cummins will be delivering a speech prior to the event beginning. I chose Chad Cummins to be the speaker not only because he is the owner and manager of Cummins Auto Group, but also because he is a well-known and respected individual in western Oklahoma. The key message for the event is: "Raising money for Weatherford's public school system while providing a service to believe in at Cummins Auto Group."

Chad Cummins: "Hello and welcome to Drive for Dollars. My name is Chad Cummins and I am the owner of Cummins Auto Group. On behalf of Cummins, I want to thank everyone for showing your support for the Weatherford community. I can assure you that everyone at Cummins is excited to have you participate in supporting our school system. As a premier dealer of multiple brands, numerous models, and countless additional automotive services, Cummins Auto Group is partnering with Weatherford Public Schools to Drive for Dollars while providing a service to believe in. At no cost, you can test drive vehicles and Cummins Auto Group will give a portion of the proceeds to Weatherford's public school system."

Chad Cummins: "From 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday, December 18, anyone can come to Cummins Chevrolet, located at 1300 North Airport Road in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and request to test drive any vehicle at no cost for 10 minutes. The only thing you need is a driver's license. Cummins Auto Group will give a portion of the proceeds to Weatherford Public Schools based on the total amount of miles put on each car."
